Since the beginning, Blessing Ranch has been providing professional Intensive Counseling services to thousands of Christian leaders around the world with the mission to help them live well, lead well, and finish well.

1996

The Beginning

In 1996, our founder, Dr. John Walker was called by God to establish Blessing Ranch Ministries, a Christian leader resource and renewal center. The center was built on a ranch in beautiful Colorado, with real cowboys and horses, hence our name. Since the beginning, Blessing Ranch has been providing professional Intensive Counseling services to thousands of Christian leaders around the world with the mission to help them live well, lead well, and finish well.

2011

Colorado To Florida

In 2011, Dr. Charity Byers, daughter of Dr. Walker, joined the team as a Psychologist. In 2014, our headquarters transitioned to the Tampa Bay area of sunny Florida, where in 2017, Dr. Byers was named CEO and continues to purposefully lead Blessing Ranch since Dr. Walker's retirement.

2020

Unhindered

In 2020, Unhindered: Aligning the Story of Your Heart, was written and published after Dr. Walker and Dr. Byers saw how the Unhindered Heart model had helped renew and transform the hearts and lives of Christian leaders for twenty-five years. The release of the book catalyzed a growing desire to multiply the reach of Blessing Ranch Ministries and bring even more transformation in more accessible and affordable ways. In 2021, The Unhindered Life (TUL) initiative was born to promote healing in leaders, teams, and cultures which results in healthy disciples and more effective Kingdom impact.

Present Day

New Era. Same Vision.

We are excited for what is happening at Blessing Ranch Ministries and through The Unhindered Life initiative, and we are looking forward to how God will continue to expand our territory as we continue to serve Christian leaders around the world.
